A few days back a mentor posed the question, “What is your goal in your family imagery?”
I had to stop and think about it…
How I shoot…
What I want the results to look like?
How I want people to feel when taking the shot.
How I want people to feel when they see the final image.
I want them to feel Connected.
Through my lens I see families that just want a moment to breathe, to see each other, to feel each other, to connect.
They want to remember why they began this journey.
To laugh together.
I want them slow down and connect when we are shooting and relive that feeling every time they view their images.
Connections are made with the heart, with strings to the soul.
